New Delhi: President Pratibha Devisingh Patil and Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari on Friday greeted the people ahead of the joyous festival of Holi.
In her message, President Patil said: "On the joyous occasion of Holi, I have great pleasure to extend my greetings and good wishes
"May this unique festival of colours, bring joy and happiness and foster the spirit of unity and harmony amongst our citizens," she added.
Ansari, in his message, said: "My hearty greetings and good wishes to the people of our country on the auspicious occasion of Holi, the festival of colours.
"This festival brings forth the tradition of reinforcing unity amidst diversity. It also marks the onset of spring. May this Festival fill our lives with happiness and promote national integration," he added.
