Pulse polio immunization programme on Jan 10

Thrissur: An estimated 2.55 lakh children below
the age of five would be covered in the district on January 10
and February 7 under the state-level pulse polio immunisation
programme.

The programme would be inaugurated by Health Minister P K
Sreemathy, District Medical Officer Dr V Divakaran told
reporters here today.

He said that the polio eradication programme in Kerala
had become a great success since 2000 no fresh case had been
reported.
