Sheopur (MP): Congress general secretary
Rahul Gandhi Monday called upon the youth in Madhya Pradesh to
enter politics and expressed hope that a day would come when
young leadership would be at the forefront in the state.

Addressing a training camp of Youth Congress here,
Gandhi said the party was encouraging youth and pointed out
that the Manmohan Singh government has got a number of
young ministers in it.

He said a day will come when young leadership would be
at the forefront in Madhya Pradesh.

On the membership drive conducted by the youth wing of
the party, he said the drive was a big success in Tamil Nadu
as the organisation enrolled nearly 16,000 members in a state
where the party had been reduced to almost nothing.

Taking a dig at the BJP, Rahul said that instead of
supporting the Congress in its developmental schemes, the
party is becoming an obstruction and issuing senseless
statements.
