New Delhi: Gearing up for Lok Sabha Polls, Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi will on Monday visit Bhopal where he would interact with women delegates from across the country, to discuss the salient points of woman empowerment, which would then be assimilated into the party's election manifesto.

Ahead of Rahul's visit, security has been beefed up in the sate, with around 100 policemen being deployed.

Rahul will arrive at Bhopal's Raja Bhoj International airport from where he will head towards Minto Hall, where a programme called “Mahila Samvad” will take place.

Mahila Samvad is being organised by All-India Mahila Congress president Shobha Ojha.

Over 250 women delegates from around the country have been invited to the conference, where the women would get a chance to present their views on women empowerment before Rahul Gandhi.

Moreover, the Mahila Congress will use this occasion to push for the early passage of the Bill providing 33 per cent reservation to women in Parliament and state Assemblies.

Given that Rahul's words are adhered to sincerely, it will be interesting to see if the party vice president can felicitate the passage of the much-awaited Women's Reservation Bill.
