Mumbai ATS chief Hemant Karkare, senior BJP leader Rajnath
Singh on Sunday asked the Congress to clarify its position.
"If Karkare was facing any threat to his life, then he
should have given the information either to the Home Ministry
or the Intelligence Bureau.
"Why did he choose only Digvijay Singh for this
purpose? This is intriguing," the former BJP president said.
He said he smelled a rat behind the entire episode
and asked the Congress to clarify its position.
Digvijay`s remarks could influence the Mumbai terror
attack investigations, the BJP veteran said.
On the Telecom scam, he said his party was firm on its
demand for a JPC probe into the spectrum allocation.
