Mysore: Yoga guru Baba Ramdev on Thursday said he
would launch a nationwide agitation from June 1 to demand the
withdrawal of higher denominations of currency notes as they
are used for circulation of black money.
Every politician must voluntarily declare his or her
assets and governments should judiciously use the country`s
wealth rather than borrowing money from other countries, he
said at a yoga camp here.

Ramdev said he would launch the agitation through his
Bharath Swabhiman Movement at a national-level.

He said with the objective to make India a
corruption-free country a `yoga yatra` from Madhya Pradesh had
been launched, which has covered the distance of one lakh
kilometres so far.
Ramdev alleged there was "rampant corruption" in
Karnataka, but said he would not demand Chief Minister B S
Yeddyurappa`s resignation.

He also suggested opening of Yoga schools in every
village to promote yoga.
