Jammu: Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev Sunday said
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah was over-stressed due to current
unrest in Kashmir Valley and advised him to destress himself
by practising yoga.
He also slammed the Chief Minister for his remarks in
the state Assembly on the recent turmoil in the state saying
he was speaking the language of separatists.
"Omar is over-stressed due to the prevailing situation
in Kashmir. He needs yoga to destress himself," Ramdev told
Flaying Omar`s recent remarks in the state Assembly
while winding up a debate on the law and order in the state,
the Yoga Guru said the Chief Minister should avoid getting
himself embroiled in controversies through such statements.
"People of the country are hurt. Omar has not only
insulted but also challenged the integrity of the country by
speaking the language of separatists," he said.
On the current situation in Kashmir, Ramdev said "Omar
is helpless and disabled by the public outcry. He has failed."
Lashing out at the Congress-led UPA government at the
Centre, he said "it is unfortunate it did not react even once
to Omar`s remarks in the Legislative Assembly".
On the Kashmir issue, the Yoga Guru said "the issue
was kept lingering and now it has become the worst type of
Omar had recently told the state Assembly that
"Kashmir is an outstanding issue which needs to be resolved.
It is a political issue and cannot be addressed through
development, employment or good governance only."
