New Delhi: Ramlila Maidan in old Delhi is
set to behold a jamboree similar to that witnessed during
Gandhian Anna Hazare-led protest in Jantar Mantar, with songs,
dances, slogans and live painting.
Painter Tabreez Alam, who was also present at Hazare`s
camp two months back, created his artistic impression of the
protest, depicting the "monster of corruption" grinding
innocent people in poverty. He also made paintings with the
message of bringing back black money stashed abroad.

Citing a difference between the two protests, he said
Anna`s fight was only for the Lokpal Bill, but Baba Ramdev has
taken up the bigger task of fighting corruption as a whole.

Some sadhus conducted a `yagna` at the site while a group
from Rajasthan wearing colourful turbans burst into an
impromptu folk dance and music performance.

A group of women volunteers displayed their solidarity to
Ramdev by raising slogans against corruption.

Leaders from different religious sects also shared stage
with the yoga guru, who said the "Raavan of corruption will be
killed at Ramlila Maidan".
"Why do people in our country get amazed to see Hindus
and Muslims protesting together? We all are citizens of the
country first and we must get together to fight this great
evil of corruption and black money irrespective of religion,"
President of Imam Parishad, Mufti Shamoon Qasmi said.

A separate tent has been put up at the ground for serving
food to the people. Rice, chapattis, dal and vegetables were
served today while lemon water will be made available to those
fasting from tomorrow.
