Jammu: Authorities on Wednesday imposed restrictions
on the movement of people within 500 meters of Indo-Pak border
in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir.
The step has been taken in view of enhanced patrolling by
security forces due to apprehension of cross-border
infiltration.
District Magistrate, Samba, Mubarak Singh issued
prohibitory orders restricting any movement within 500 meters
of the international border from 8 PM to 5 AM, with immediate
effect.
As per intelligence reports, militants are staged on
launching pads along borderline ready to infiltrate into
this side during the nights.
