RRB scam: Court grants CBI 7-day custody of key accused, others

Special Court for CBI today granted seven days police custody of S M Sharma, suspended Chairman of Railway Recruitment Board, Mumbai, and 10 others in connection with a case of alleged leakage of exam paper.

Railway Recruitment Board for money.

All the arrested persons including S M Sharma, his son
Vivek Bhardwaj, A K Jagannatham, former Additional Divisional
Railway Manager (ADRM) in Raipur and his son Srujan were
presently in judicial remand here.

The CBI has busted the railway recruitment scam last
month and arrested 11 persons from Mumbai, Bangalore and
Hyderabad.

All the 11 accused in the case would be handed over to
CBI, investigating into the multi-crore railway recruitment
scam, from tomorrow for custodial interrogation.
