Vadodara: Janata Party President Subramaniam Swamy on Saturday said the Supreme Court's monitoring of the CBI probe into 2G spectrum scam will leave no room for a "shoddy" job by the investigation agency.

Declining to get into the controversy over the composition of the drafting committee for Lokpal Bill, he said Anna Hazare was an honest man determined to fight corruption.

Former union minister Jagdip Dhankar appealed to Shanti Bhushan, embroiled in a controversy over CD and land allotment, and his son Prashant Bhusan to resign from the drafting committee "on moral ground".

Dhankar, a Supreme Court advocate, also questioned the affidavit of Gujarat's IPS officer Sanjiv Bhatt making implicating Chief Minister Narendra Modi in 2002 post-Godhra riots and said "why did Bhatt keep quiet on this issue for the past nine years"?
