New Delhi: In a shocking incident, a sitting Supreme Court of India woman judge has declared her unmarried daughters as ‘liability’ on the court’s website.

Justice Gyan Sudha Mishra, the only woman judge at the apex court, has declared her unmarried daughters in the list of her assets and liabilities for the year 2010.

Listed under ‘other liabilities’, Mishra has clubbed her daughters along with her plan to build a residential house, post retirement.

Mishra was the first woman Chief Justice of the Jharkhand High Court. She became An SC judge on April 30 this year.

She has also mentioned land, property and some jewellery as assets. The declaration is being made on the court’s website since last year.
