Serial blasts ahead of Narendra Modi’s ‘Hunkar’ rally condemnable: MP CM

The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday expressed his disappointment over the serial bomb blasts which rocked the Patna city of Bihar today ahead of the ‘Hunkar rally’ of the Bharatiya Janata Party`s (BJP) Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.

New Delhi: The Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday expressed his disappointment over the serial bomb blasts which rocked the Patna city of Bihar today ahead of the ‘Hunkar rally’ of the Bharatiya Janata Party`s (BJP) Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi.

“Very sad to hear about antisocial elements trying to sabotage your (Modi’s) Patna rally. I pray for safety of everyone,” Chouhan tweeted.

According to news reports, the first bomb blasts rocked Patna city today as the Gujarat Chief Minister arrived here for `Hunkar` rally. One person was reportedly killed in the explosion.

Whereas the second explosion took place at a movie theatre when Modi arrived in the state capital to address the rally in Gandhi Maidan.
