New Delhi: A woman lawyer, who had earlier alleged that she was sexually harassed by a Supreme Court judge, will on Monday depose before a three-member panel of judges formed by the top court to look into the matter.
According to reports, the woman lawyer will depose before the panel this evening.
Ahead of her appearance, a group of women lawyers protested near the court, demanding that a police case be registered on the basis of her allegations.
The woman lawyer has made the revelation first in her blog and later in an interview to Legally India. Though she did not name the judge, who sexually harassed her, Legally India claimed that he is now retired.
In her blog, the lawyer said that she was interning for this judge when he harassed her in a hotel room in December.
Last week, the Chief Justice of India P Sathasivam said that he was disturbed by the allegations and formed a committee of three judges to investigate the charges levelled by her.
Sources say the police are waiting for the woman`s corroboration of the alleged incident.
