Beed: Anna Hazare on Friday said here that Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi, who was recently embroiled in a controversy over a CD showing him in a compromising situation, should be hanged if found "guilty".

"Singhvi should be hanged if found guilty," Hazare said, to a reporter's question here this evening.

Hazare is currently touring the state to campaign for a stronger Lokayukta Act in Maharashtra.

Singhvi quit as Congress spokesperson after the scandal broke, but he also maintained that the CD was fake.

Speaking here, Hazare also said that if a strong Lokpal came into existence, corrupt officers would go to jail.

Government officers should be made to disclose their assets on a government website, he added.

Annaji has given verdict without any propriety and he has no locus standi on the issue. Though CD is fake and not proved true in any court of Law. It is a personal matter

When did Anna Hazare get the position of Chief Justice of the country? I think he should get subjected to treatment for his atrocious comments. Someone please tell him to confine his activities to what he is good at and not make judgements on what needs to be the punishment for such activities.

They can not be exploited more.Congress Party should review its working & start mass contact program & try to attract younger generation which it has thrown away by using abusive & derogatory language against social reformist Anna Hazare.

anna speaks like hitler. He does not know for which crime capital punishment can be given. If we go through any body`s life, we can find such incidents, even anna in his youthful days. Even M. Gandhi was in this position all his life.

The person is fake is Mr. Singhvi. If the video is fake why did file law suit? He filed civil complaint in court so he can have control of the case. If he would have filed criminal complaint the issue become state VS defense and Mr. Singhvi don` t have no control on it. Singhvi did involved as part of corrupt practice to make lady a judge! Now we have in India judges can be appointed on the basis of sex service provided by the candidate! Anna is right this pure case of corruption and nepotism.
