New Delhi: Union Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde has disclosed that even Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi were not kept in the loop about the planned hanging of 26/11 Mumbai attack convict Ajmal Kasab.

Talking to a news channel, Shinde said that no one from the Union Cabinet was aware of what was to unfold on Wednesday morning.

He added that only President Pranab Mukherjee, some Home Ministry officials and few in the Maharashtra government knew of the decision.

The Home Minister revealed that his Cabinet colleagues learnt of Kasab’s hanging through television.

Why should she be in the loop on a decision which is as per the law. Is she above Law in India. She is not in the Government as any Minister. She is like any other 540 MPs.

No , it proves that Sonia Gandhi does not remote any ministry as discussed and believed most of the time. Otherwise, she must be taken in confidence before ution. You have to believe in system anyways

Indeed a job well done, Ajmal Kasaab finally met his fate what a true terrorist always deserves, but now the question arises where is the Amnesty International why they are not condemning this capital punishment which was first awarded and now finally uted in india, in a country which is indeed a very vocal champion of human rights round the world along with this global human rights watch dog, but with this ution, today India did indeed set a good and encouraging precedent and example how to deal with a terrorists and certainly made Pakistani(s) realize that they indeed made some huge mistakes when they released Indian terrorists like Kashmir Singh and Surjeet Singh in the past who while acting on behalf of Indian RAW carried out terrorists activities inside Pakistan and killed scores of innocent and unarmed Pakistani (s) and now the Pakistan government should not repeat this mistake in case of Sarabjeet Singh and should hang him publically for his heinous crimes against Pakistani Nationals in Pakistan since he is convicted for his terrorists activities in Pakistan and already awarded a death penalty against his crimes.
