Speaker Meira Kumar to address Bhutan Parliament

Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar would address the National Assembly of Bhutan on May 28.



New Delhi: Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar
would address the National Assembly of Bhutan on May 28.

Kumar will be visiting Bhutan as head of a high-level
parliamentary delegation which will also includes Leader of
the Opposition Sushma Swaraj.
Parliament officials said that Kumar is visiting
Thimpu on the invitation of Speaker of the Bhutanese National
Assembly Tshogton Jigme Tshultim and would also be meeting
senior Bhutanese leaders.

Other members of the delegation are Girija Vyas
(Congress), Ranjitsingh Mohite Patil (NCP), Vishwamohan Kumar
(JD-U), Mirza Mehboob Beg (National Conference) and Pyare
Mohan Mahapatra (BJD).
