Subramanian Swamy always talks too much: Congress

New Delhi: Hitting back at Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy on Saturday, the Congress has taunted that he is a talkative person.

Lashing out at Swamy’s recent allegations against Nehru-Gandhi family, Congress leader PC Chacko said that problem with Swamy is that he always talks too much.

Chacko told a news agency: “Every time he speaks too much outside and when he goes to court, looses the case.”

“What happened in the case of P Chidambaram, he (Swamy) has been saying outside that he has got all the evidence, all the papers? Where all the evidences and papers have gone when he went to the High Court and even in the Supreme Court. He lost like anything,” added Chacko.

Terming it a very ‘indecent behaviour’ Chacko said that Swamy is again blackmailing by picking up a new allegation against congress leadership. Chacko challenged Swamy to go to the court or for any legal remedies if he actually has evidence to support the charges made by him.

“We are in a democracy, he should approach the court and the law of the land should be invoked. Why is he not taking legal action,” asked Chacko. Chacko, who is also the chairman of joint parliamentary committee (JPC), added that they have sentimental attachments to National Herald because it was Jawaharlal Nehru’s brainchild and Congress party has every right to look after its affairs.

Mr. Chacko, Truth is always a bitter pill to swallow. You will try to play all gimmicks to avoid it.

Chako is a nice guy. Wish he were out of all this. There are others who have been defending the party. A pointer to Chako: National Herald did not belong to the Congress Party. It belonged to a company, the promoters of which are/were some Congress party members and private bodies. The media company`s fixed assets - taking into account the current market value of Herald House on New Delhi`s Bahadurshah Zafar Marg - far outweighs its moral liability on account of payment of dues of employees who lost their jobs due to the closure of the company. Is it ethical, if also legal, for Congress to advance Rs. 90 crore to the new owners of the closed media company to settles the so-called claims of its sacked employees? Why couldn`t the new owners sell off Herald House to pay off the employees? The reason is simple: they got a huge asset at the cost the party. Cool, isn`t it? Sounds bizarre!!! Congress and the new owners of Herald House must help us, the common man and party supporters, solve the riddle.

Mr. Swamy is definitely one of the many `big mouths` around. The way allegations of corruptions on political leaders are coming out one by one, from IAC Kejriwal, Subramanyam swamy and the like, there seem to be a game plan behind- either to be noticed by others or may be to help some political parties either directly or indirectly. Why can`t these people approach the court, if they are having concrete evidences? A civil society expects that. Here, these people shout and some embedded media take over the hype till they feel that their hidden agenda is achieved. Very cheap way of doing things to insult/target `opponents`

This is too much only for Congress. When it has accepted its faults. Never If it has any thing it has to be revealed so as to know by the public. Instead of that just hiding the facts will not serve any purpose in the democratic country like ours.
