TCS V-C praises Anna for fight against corruption

Chennai: Tata Consultancy Services vice Chairman S Ramadorai today praised anti graft crusader Anna Hazare for keeping alive the fight against corruption,but said he did not endorse his methodologies to achieve it.

"In a politically vibrant and active democracy like ours, issues of national importance sometimes do not get the attention it deserves. So if it was not for Anna Hazare, we would accept corruption as fait accompli",he said at the 175th Annual General Meet of industry body Madras Chamber of Commerce and Industry here.

Ramadorai said he did not endorse Hazare's methodologies on his fight against corruption, but gave him credit for keeping the issue alive, reigning in support from citizens and getting the Government to act.

Team Anna ended their 10 day fast at Jantar Mantar in Delhi yesterday and took the political plunge, declaring their plans to form a party to fight the 2014 Lok Sabha polls. But Anna Hazare made it clear that he would not launch a party or contest elections.

who said light travels faster...???one small lamp of hope ignited by annaji is reaching ppl`s mind in very slow motion....intellctuals hv a big drawback of reacting late after weighing pros and cons of anything..but india can not ever deny now.. day of darkness are over and countdown has already started...a single lamp ignited will enlighten billions of lamp in shirt period.. i can bet it on my soul..

Democracy is getting re-defined, not so much by the means used to bring the attention to the issues not working, but rather in just the way one is beginning to realize that we, the people, haven`t honestly even claimed responsibility for having IGNORED corruption and the things not working FOR US, FOR LONG LONG TIME! And when someone does bring this to our notice, we haven`t stopped pushing such things below the carpet so that we don`t face that it is indeed our own failures to have NEVER DEMANDED a honest governance ever before! I appreciate the fearless open self-expression made by the TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES chairman in his speech

As we know, the government in cetre runs by support of different political parties the higher authority in the governing power not able to take a lawful action on the ministers action on misusing power in office business. The Constitutional previleges for them can not take action of law as applicable to common man. So they are benefitted to be free from getting bail and attract the public as they are noy defaulters.The government also not ready to lose power on taking action on the defaulters from the party supported for .Anna demand to eradicate corruption was not responded as the governing power is a mixer of different parties. The Law makers claimed ANNA Hazare to put up his demand after enter the house as a member by the constitution allows. Now there is no other way before him as the government is helpless in fullfilling the demand and taking response on his peacefull by fast.So the decision on forming political party in the ambition of come to power, but atleast the party can get minimum numbers of leaders get elected to put up his demand on bringing a change in the present status of governing methodology in future days even in his absent . Now what is the problem of political parties enjoys the democracy on their own benefit and ANNAhazare demanding for the people of this soil.?
