New Delhi: A 15-year-old boy, who works in a roadside tea stall here, wants to attend Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi`s swearing-in ceremony, an NGO said Saturday.
"I want to become a leader and Modi ji has made me realise that it is not impossible," said Ritesh, who had migrated from Bihar with his family.
Ritesh, who is a member of the federation of street children run by Childhood Enhancement through Training and Action (CHETNA), has already sent letters to the prime minister`s office, BJP office and Gujarat Bhawan in this regard.
"Children have high hopes from the new government, especially children living in difficult circumstances. I am very hopeful that honourable PM will allow him to attend the historic event which will inspire thousands of children across the country," CHETNA director Sanjay Gupta said.
