Mumbai: Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackeray has termed as "shameless" the meeting of state Home Minister RR Patil and Leader of Opposition in Assembly Eknath Khadse with 26/11 terrorist Ajmal Kasab at Arthur Road jail recently.
"What was the need for you to shamelessly visit the prison and meet Kasab? Are you going to respect common man`s sentiments," Thackeray was quoted as saying in party mouthpiece `Saamana` today.
Kasab is alive and enjoying government hospitality, Thackeray said.
Kasab and nine other terrorists had struck Mumbai two years ago leaving 166 people dead. He was sentenced to death by a special court in May.
