The current crop (population) of australians has descended from hard core criminals in the UK, who were sent to australia as a means of banishment from that kingdom. In any case, it is a shame that Indians should flock to australia for the so-called studies, as a means of staying there illegally, which is also happening in the USA as well, on a massive scale.

The Indian press should harp on the marxist and other terrorist organisations creating havoc in India instead of some idiotic Indians who cannot take care of themselves while abroad. If the fellows cannot look after themselves then just shut up and come back to India. The idiots should stay away from middle eastern and iranians who hate Indians

Indian Govt has nothing to do with it. It is media which portrays every robbery as against Indian students. The crime is much lower when you compare with Mumbai or Delhi and the incident is where some drunken people wanted some cash/cell phones. To make it a news of hate against Indians may get some hits on your web site but creates a problem for Indians in Australia.

3 Indians could not stand up to 4 attackers! One of them ran away and left his 2 companions! This will not make any Indian proud. The attacks will only stop if Indians stand up and fight back - hard. What will it take for India and Indians to have more guts ?
