Three Maoists arrested during `Operation Thunder`

Three Maoists were arrested during a three-day operation against the ultras by Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh security personnel.

Garhwa (J`khand): Three Maoists were
arrested and arms and ammunition recovered during a three-day
operation against the ultras by Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh
security personnel.

"Three Maoists -- Malluh Korva, Babita Devi and Milan
Killah -- were arrested during the joint operation. There was
no encounter during the operation," Garhwa Superintendent of
Police Michael Raj told reporters here.

`Operation Thunder` was concentrated at Sanya, Matgarhi
and Hesha villages situated on the borders of the two states,
CRPF Commandant R K Dagar said.
A total of six kg potassium nitrate and ammonium, three
hand grenades, 54 detonators, a gun, 126 cartridges, 625
rucksacks, 24 blankets, 17 gas cylinders, 10 metre wire and
trunk full of tracksuits and naxalite literature were
recovered from the three rooms located in the forests.
