Tiwari exits Lokpal panel; Lalu, Amar next? Zeenews Bureau

New Delhi: Congress spokesperson Manish Tiwari on Wednesday recused himself from the Parliamentary Standing Committee that is examining the Lokpal Bill, hours before the panel’s term is set to expire.

Tiwari’s action came amid reports that he, along with RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and former SP general secretary Amar Singh, would be left out of the committee when it is reconstituted soon.

It may be noted that Congress spokesperson Manish Tiwari had launched a personal attack on Anna Hazare, and the Congress was not keen on him continuing to be part of future discussions that the Standing Committee would have with Team Anna members on the Lokpal Bill.

Amar Singh and Lalu Yadav, on the other hand, had come under attack from Team Anna during their recent Lokpal campaign. Team Anna had questioned their anti-corruption credentials, as the two themselves are facing court cases involving corruption.

Meanwhile, Congress’ Abhishek Manu Singhvi is likely to continue as the chairman of the 31-member Standing Committee on law and justice.

he should be thrown out of congress, but unfortunately this party honours this type of people having no sense of talking . ultimately he has to go back to his profession of waqualat, hope no one will take his case to him.

Why don`t they exclude Kapil Sibbal also. He has been most outspoken anti-Anna and anti-RamDev congressman.

in my view the mps should not be made ministry. mps should all other work of making laws only. ministrial berth should only be given to persons of eminance in the relevant field.

mr. manish tiwari had insulted mahatama hazare in a press conference. so he should have apologised in a press conference only.

i am happy to read that manish and other two corrupts are already planned to be out of the standing commitee. it somewhere indicates some honesty from the congress to consider the sentiments of the people of india. lalu himself created a hell in bihar and in spite of it speaks so confidently and proves himself a joker all the time. amar is a history in politics and i am happy that one less in the corrupt herd.manish is made to speak non sense because thats the only way for his survival in his own congress party. hope these people get educated in this life time and learn that politics is not about fooling the masses but to take their causes to help develop the society and the nation. jai hind.!

whole nation know that lalu yadav, amar singh are most corrupt leaders of our natyion as lalau`s case pending in court in a huge spectrum on which the cbi already filed case on cbi last few years. lalu is offenced in chaara ghotala. and amar singh is also most corrupt politician of india. how can these criminal politicians may be permitted to make jan lokpal bill if they are in sitting committe by govt. actually our central govt congress is already a most corrupt party as in the spectrums 2g spectrum, aadarsh society and cwg spectrum. jai hind!

lalu prasad yadav in bihar is like col gaddafi in libya. he thinks that he is supreme (as gaddafi thinks). lalu will never be able to make a comeback in bihar politics.

lalu? he is a great name, hon`ble mp we have to say him. it is the other dark side of our parliamentary democracy. any how, you may fool people once, not again and again. it is good that his name has been proposed to take out from the standing committee
