UK Deputy PM Nick Clegg visits Bangla Sahib Gurudwara

Deputy Prime Minister of United Kingdom Nick Clegg, who is on a three-day trip to India, on Monday visited the Bangla Sahib Gurudwara in New Delhi.

New Delhi: Deputy Prime Minister of United Kingdom Nick Clegg, who is on a three-day trip to India, on Monday visited the Bangla Sahib Gurudwara in New Delhi.

Clegg was presented a memento by the Gurudwara authorities.
Earlier today, Clegg had also paid tribute at the `Amar Jawan Jyoti`, the memorial dedicated to the Unknown Soldier.

This is Clegg`s first visit to India. He is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley during the day.
Clegg is leading a 50-member trade delegation to promote investment in the British food, retail, education, defence and aerospace sector.

Clegg will also be visiting Mumbai and Bangalore.
