Undertrial throws slipper towards Judge

An undertrial facing murder charges on Thursday threw a slipper towards the Judge in courtroom here in Central Maharashtra, police said.

The incident took place around 2.30 pm when the
accused, Vikas alias Nagnath Govindpure, was produced in the
court of Judge S T Barane.

As the hearing was on, the 29-year-old suddenly took
out a slipper and threw it in direction of the Judge. However,
the `chappal` did not hit the Judge, they said.

Poilce have registered an offence against Govindpure.
