New Delhi: The US Embassy here and the
American Consulates in Mumbai, Kolkata, Hyderabad and Chennai
today organised various programmes to commemorate the 10th
anniversary of 9/11 attacks.
The Embassy as well as the Consulates will also organise
exhibitions, panel discussion and musical concert in the next
few days to mourn the loss of nearly 3,000 people in the
terrorist attack.
The Embassy has also invited internet users across India
to visit its facebook pages
(http://www.facebook.com/americancenternewdelhi) and
contribute their thoughts and reflections.
On September 13, besides some other programmes, the US
Consulate General in Mumbai will host a concert by renowned
American singer-songwriter Carrie Newcomer.
