Kochi: India and US will work together in
close coordination for common goals, American Consular General
in Chennai, Jeniffer McIntyre, said today as US Naval Frigate
USS Ford arrived here.
"There is increase in interaction, dialogue and better
cooperation between two countries and we will work together in
close coordination for common goals," she told reporters.
Captain of the vessel Commander Donal Foss said they have
ongoing cooperation with India and both navies are striving
for peace, security and stability of the region.
"The visit will further strengthen and enhance bilateral
ties," he said.
The Consular General will also call on the Southern Naval
command officials.
