The recee of the entire monument was conducted by a team of authorities at the Humayun's Tomb, which is also a World Heritage Site, sources told PTI here.

After he lands in Delhi on the evening of November 7, Obama will visit the monument and spend some time there before he leaves for an informal meeting with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.

The first recee was conducted today, a day after the White House announced that Obama and his wife Michelle will visit the Mughal monument, they said.

The sources said such recees will become a regular affair till Obama's visit.

They said the US President and the First Lady are expected to visit the monument as "ordinary tourists" and will be taken around the monument by senior officials of the Archaological Survey of India (ASI), which maintains the monument.

No cultural programme or exhibition has been scheduled for now, they said.
