New Delhi: As part of Indo-American cooperation in security issues, US Homeland Security Deputy Secretary Jane Holl Lute on Wednesday met Home Secretary Gopal K Pillai and discussed anti-terror measures and other matters of bilateral concern.
During the hour-long meeting, they delved into issues related to sharing of information, anti-terror cooperation and ongoing exchange programme between the security officials of the two countries, sources said.
The two top officials also discussed the April visit of US Secretary of the Department of Homeland Janet Napolitano to the country during which she will meet Home Minister P Chidambaram.
