Sagar (MP): Senior VHP Leader Acharya
Dharmendra on Saturday came down on RSS saying the organisation
was no more a 'parivar'(family) but has become a tantra
(machinery) where lust for money has taken over the values
of emotions, dedication, sacrifice and compassion."
He also said it was his innocence that he trusted RSS
which used him at international level.
He was speaking at a press conference after calling off
his fast-unto-death undertaken to solve a land dispute between
Gou Seva Sanghthan and Saraswati Shishu Mandir. The Saraswati
Shishu Mandir has allagedly encroached upon the Gou Sevak
Sangh's land. The fast ended yesterday without a result.
"RSS is no more a parivar but has become a tantra where
lust for money has taken over the values of emotions,
dedication, sacrifice and compassion," Dharmendra alleged.
He said he had been a patron of Gou Seva Sangthan in
Sagar since 1980 and was also associated with RSS which
"betrayed" him on the land dispute issue.
Asked that his fast ended without any result,
Dharmendra said it was not his defeat but a "black spot" on
the face of RSS.
Dharmendra also called the Saraswati Shishu Mandir as
'education mafia'.
He praised the saint who manhandled social activist Swami
Agnivesh in Ahmedabad. "I would have admired saint Nityanand
more if he had hit him with his 'khadau' (wooden slipper),
instead of slapping him," he said.
"Agnivesh, who described the Amarnath Yatra as hipocrisy,
was an agent of Naxalites and Leftist organisations," he said.
On the issue of collection of money for the construction
of a Ram temple at Ayodhya, the senior VHP leader said his
organisation has a complete record of each and every paisa.
He said the stone pillars and other parts of the Ram
temple were ready and just had to be fixed without using
cement. He added VHP is waiting for the court verdict on the
issue.
