VHP vows to build Ram temple in Ayodhya

Jaipur: VHP president Ashok Singhal on Wednesday
asserted that a Ram temple would be built at the disputed site
in Ayodhya, saying the Parishad is conducting a nationwide
campaign to achieve the objective.

"Ramlala (Baby Ram) is a legal figure and a temple
will be built there (Ayodhya). We are creating mass awareness
through public meetings and Yagnas in this regard and have met
many MPs who have also supported us," Singhal told reporters
The VHP will also hold a Yagna and a meeting in Jaipur
on December 18 to demand passage of a legislation in
Parliament facilitating construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya,
he said.

Sadhvi Ritambhara, who was actively involved in the
Ram temple movement of the 1990s, will also attend the twin
programmes to be held in support of the demand, the VHP leader
"We would like to seek support from public once again
to build Ram temple at the site by collecting a small amount
from each of those wanting to contribute to its construction,"
he said.
