Nagpur: The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has decided to organise public awareness campaign on constructing Ram Mandir all over the country from August 16 to November 15.
A decision to this effect was taken at VHP`s executive committee meeting held at Ayodhya from July 12 to 16, VHP`s Hanuman Shakti Jagran Samiti convenor, Vyanktesh Aabdeo told reporters here yesterday.
To create unanimity among leaders on the issue of Ram Temple, Aabdeo said VHP leaders would soon meet Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi.
He called on Muslim community to forget the past (demolition of Babri masjid) and extend their co-operation in constructing Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.
He also said `Hanuman Chalisa` will be recited 11 times in over two lakh villages in the country.
