New Delhi: Another rift has hit Team Anna – this time involving key members Arvind Kejriwal and Kiran Bedi.
A day after Kejriwal disapproved of Bedi`s overcharging her hosts by inflating travel bills saying she was wrong in doing so, the former cop hit back at the social activist saying he would not have made such a comment if he had comprehended the issue fully.
"The only problem is that he didn`t understand the issue
fully... If he had more understanding of the issue, then his
answer would have been different," Bedi said.
Asked about the controversy over Bedi`s flying economy
class and charging her host-organisers for business class
tickets, Kejriwal had yesterday said that "she should not have done it.
She has said it will not happen again. I would not have done
what Kiran Bedi did".
However, he said she had only committed a "technical
irregularity" and was not a personal beneficiary of the money.
Bedi had yesterday posted on Twitter that
"Arvind has informed me that it`s a spin for a purpose".
