New Delhi: Amidst the uproar over the killing of five Indian soldiers along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir, Zee News’ popular news show, ‘Daily News and Analysis’, questioned the silence of Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on the issue.
Programme anchor and Zee News Editor Sudhir Chaudhary pointed out that despite Congress president Sonia Gandhi having come out and stressed that the country won’t be cowed down by such blatant acts of deceit, the PM has yet not made any statement in this regard.
Mr Chaudhary also put the focus on Defence Minister AK Antony’s ‘clean chit’ to the Pakistani Army.
The episode, which aired on Wednesday, also showed exclusive reports from the LoC and the pain of the families of the martyrs.
The audience responded enthusiastically to the interactive programme by responding via social media and uploading videos on upload.zeenews.com.
