Will abide by BJP leadership`s decision: Yeddyurappa

BJP chief Nitin Gadkari said a decision on the CM`s fate will be announced today at 11.00 am.

New Delhi: With BJP set to take a
decision on his fate in the wake of allegations of land scam
in Karnataka, Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa Wednesday said he will
abide by whatever decision the party leadership takes about
him.

"Whatever decision is taken by the party, I will abide
by the order," he told reporters here.

"I met (BJP chief Nitin) Gadkariji and other senior
leaders last night. A decision will be taken around noon. I
will not say anything before that," Yeddyurappa, who visited a
temple at Raghvendra Mutt in the morning, said.

He also had a breakfast meeting with party MPs from
the state.

Asked if he was happy, he merely said, "In future also
I want to look very happy."

His reactions came after a day of hectic parleys among
BJP leaders on the issue late last night.

According to party sources, the Chief Minister may
come out with a statement that he did not defy the party
leadership and that he would accept whatever the party decides
about him.

Gadkari had said yesterday that a decision on the
Chief Minister`s fate will be announced today at 11.00 am.
