Wing of Air India plane hits step-ladder

The wing of an Air India Kolkata-Guwahati plane hit a step-ladder when it was taxing in the runway at the NSC Bose International Airport here said.

Kolkata-Guwahati plane on Saturday hit a step-ladder when it was
taxing in the runway at the NSC Bose International Airport here, airport sources said.

The plane carrying 59 passengers onboard was taxing in
the runway at around 10.30 am when one of its wings hit a
step-ladder, the sources said.

The pilot then brought the plane back and all the
passengers disembarked from the plane.

The passengers were then shifted to another plane which
took them to Guwahati, the sources added.
