New Delhi: India’s first completely interactive news show ‘Daily News and Analysis’, which airs on Zee News at 9 pm, in its latest episode, touched upon the burning issue of the influence of corrupt politics on the ‘system’ of the country, as manifested in Durga Shakti Nagpal issue.
Hosted by Sudhir Chaudhary, Editor, Zee News, the popular programme, in the episode aired on Monday, conducted a ‘DNA test’ of the polluted politics being practiced in the country.
The issue of repeated disruption in Parliament was also highlighted. The audience was made aware of the ‘attendance register’ of MPs and those with poor record were identified.
Based on strong audience feedback and participation, the episode debated another important issue - Sports Ministry’s decision to back hockey legend Dhyan Chand instead of cricketing great Sachin Tendulkar for the country’s highest civilian honour, the Bharat Ratna.
The nation responded enthusiastically to the question: Is it fair to give the Bharat Ratna to Dhyan Chand instead of Sachin Tendulkar?
