Zee Sangam’s Campaign On ‘Black Money’ To Come To A Logical End

New Delhi, Monday 2nd June, 14 – Zee Sangam, part of India’s largest News Network, Zee Media Corporation Limited (formerly Zee News Ltd.) has played a pivotal role to voice against the menace of huge black money that has accumulated over the years in various banks worldwide. The campaign was first initiated by India Rejuvenation Initiative (IRI) in 2008. Understanding the importance of the national interest, Zee Sangam as a responsible news channel further took the campaign in a comprehensive and cohesive manner. With extensive research backed by trained professionals Zee Sangam further created a national awareness program in 2008 and continued its constant endeavor against unaccounted money for the last 3 -4 years.
The campaign comes to a logical end, when in a significant move, the first Cabinet Meeting of the current Government of India under the aegis of Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri. Narendra Modi has constituted a special investigative team (SIT) to bring back the black money. The decision on the SIT is in compliance with the Supreme Court’s directive on black money and will be headed by a two retired Supreme Court Judges.

The channel has telecasted innumerous programs / shows detailing out the on the impact of Rupee, Swiss Bank, Supreme Court of India, Finance Ministry and Share Market. The channel has showcased special programs under the brand ‘Wapas Lana Hai Kala Dhan’ wherein the channel stressed upon on the unaccounted money during (2012-2013) and Wapas Ayega Kala Dhan (???? ???? ??????!) in 2014.
The channel also incorporated the views and suggestion of the IRI members which were embedded in the programming wherein IPS Officer Jasbir Singh, Sr. IAS Officer Vijay Shankar Pandey, J.M Lyngdoh (former CEC), Prakash Singh (Retd. DGP) also provided their inputs.
