London: In the recent record of events a senior Facebook executive criticized Google +, saying Google`s social networking site lacks users, originality and appeal to software developers.
"Google has emulated aspects of our system, which is what they have the right to do. We just need to be better," the Telegraph quoted Sean Ryan, Facebook`s director of game partnerships, as saying.
Ryan compared both networking sites Facebook and Google+ and even their revenue sharing model with games developers.
While Facebook currently takes 30 per cent, Google+ takes just five per cent. "Google is at 5 per cent because they don`t have any users," said Ryan.
He even compared Google`s tactics to McDonalds copying Starbuck by selling coffee.
Google+ currently has approximately 25million users. In 2004, it took Facebook ten months to reach one million users.
The Fortune report said that Google+`s rapid announcement of games such as Zynga Poker and Angry Birds made Faceboook take notice.
