New Delhi: Even as the nation celebrates the festival of colours- Holi, on Monday, March 17, Internet search giant Google has also joined the celebration by adding an interesting doodle on its India homepage.

Splashing various colours on the Google emblem, the doodle features a pichkari (water-gun) shooting colours and coloured water on the logo.

Although Google`s Holi doodle is not as synergistic as the earlier ones, the theme is cheerful and colourful.

To honour the occasion of Holi, earlier the search engine had showcased a doodle in 2001, then again in 2010 and 2011.
