Google rolls out 'Gmailify' - The best of Gmail, without a gmail address!

New Delhi: Google has rolled out a new feature called 'Gmailify' that will allow users to access their Yahoo! Mail, Outlook and Hotmail directly from Gmail app on Android.

The new feature not only enables you to link your existing account to Gmail, but also comes with powerful options including, spam protection and inbox organisation to those with Outlook, Hotmail or Yahoo addresses.

“Gmailify links your existing account to Gmail so that you get all the bells and whistles - spam protection, inbox organization and even Google Now cards based on your mail - without having to leave your current address behind,” the company wrote in a blogspot as it announced the new option on February 17.

To avail this feature, all you need to do is open the Gmail app, sign in to your email account(s), and enable Gmailify.

And of course, users can also unlink their account(s) at any time, and continue to access them through the Gmail app without using Gmailify.

Google's Gmailify feature will be currently available on Android, however the Internet search giant is yet to reveal as to when it plans to roll out for iOS users.

The company is also planning to add other email providers to Gmailify in the future.
