New Delhi: Google Search is the 4th most popular mobile app, according to a new report by comScore.
As per a report from searchengineland, Google Search is the only search app that falls within the comScore's top 25 most popular apps.
The 2015 US Mobile App Report released by comScore also shows that Google Search is growing at a 16% rate year over year, outpacing fellow top 5 apps Facebook (9% YoY) and Google Play (7%).
It says that Google Search is not only the 4th most popular app, but it is also top of mind with users.
Google Search is featured on users’ homescreens on almost 30% of phones.
However, the app isn’t being used for extended periods of time although users are both using Google Search and keeping on their homescreens, making up to only 1.5% of all time spent in terms of usage on mobile apps, the report added.
