Washington: In yet another service, Google has reportedly unveiled an Android app for shortening URLs - goo.gl.

Users can log in to the site and paste a long URL, where it will be shortened by Google.

Google URL Shortener app would also provide analytic details as to who has been clicking on the links.
According to Cnet, Google released an Android app for the service, taking link shrinking and tracking mobile, earlier this week.

The best thing is that the app is free and can be downloaded from the Google Play Store.
