New Delhi: As many are aware, Facebook recently acquired Instagram. The image-sharing app is full to the brim with A-list celebrities also as members.
Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg who is known to be an active user himself, welcomed one of the most revered person in the world to Instagram. Yes indeed! The current Pope of the Roman Catholic Church, Pope Francis has joined the photo-sharing network site.
Pope Francis, who happens to be the 266th Pope joined the Facebook-acquired Instagram on Saturday.
An overwhelmed Zuckerberg took to Facebook and wrote, "Welcome to Instagram, Pope Francis! No matter what faith you practice, we can all be inspired by Pope Francis’s humility and compassion. I’m looking forward to following the Pope -- and watching him continue sharing his message of mercy, equality and justice with the world."
