Now you don't need to be logged in to view tweets on mobile

New Delhi: Social networking giant Twitter has redesigned the page for mobile visitors a year after it was redesigned for desktop visitors.

The mobile visitors can now view tweets without logging in twenty three countries, the Verge reported.

The new homepage shows a scrolling list of popular tweets from high-profile accounts.

Headquartered in San Francisco, twitter rapidly gained worldwide popularity, with more than 100 million users posting 340 million tweets a day in 2012. The service also handled 1.6 billion search queries per day.

In 2013, Twitter was one of the ten most-visited websites and has been described as 'the SMS of the Internet'.
