Washington: Yahoo is reportedly set to auction off its old web domains this week that the search engine claims to have `stumbled across`, such as sandwich.com and av.com.

The search engine said that about it came across the 100 Web domains it owns and would set them free, back to the wild of the Internet.

According to a website, Yahoo will run the auction through Sedo.com from November 14 to November 21 and the list of domain names includes common nouns, like sled.com, westerns.com and jockeys.com, as well as stranger fare including batoota.com, truestory.com, raging.com and fonzo.com.

The `reserve range` listed for these domains ranges from 1,000 dollars for several of the offerings to 1.5 million dollars for av.com.

The company is said to add more names to the auction list this week, the report added.
