Agartala: 296 candidates have filed their nominations for the February 14 Assembly elections in Tripura.
Sources in the state election department said, today was the last date of filing nominations and they have received 296 nomination papers with 108 of them filing their nominations on Monday.
Tomorrow all the nomination papers would be scrutinised and the last date for withdrawal of nomination is January 31.
