Guwahati: Alleging ministers were involved in the multi-crore development fund scandal and the NREGA scam, the opposition Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) on Sunday said it will highlight these issues in this year`s assembly polls in the Congress-ruled state.

"There is this multi-crore development fund scandal in North Cachar Hills and also the NREGA scam and senior ministers in the government are involved and most of them have not submitted their list of assets", AGP President Chandra Mohan Patowary said.
"We plan to highlight the unprecendented corruption during the Congress regime...It is high time that the people realise and vote for a regional party", Patowary said.

The AGP chief said his party was preparing a vision document with the help of top intellectuals aiming at overall development of the state.
"We will try our best to upgrade the standard of living of the people if voted to power", he said.
