Guwahati: A two-day All India Gandhian
Summit will begin here from Monday with delegates from all the country participating in the event.
The summit has been organised by the Gandhi Global Family of New Delhi in collaboration with the local organising
committee.
It will be held at the Assam Veterinary College
Play Ground, Khanapara, official sources told reporters.
Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi and Union Minister
for Health Family Welfare Ghulam Nabi Azad will attend the
inaugural function and pay homage to the Father of the Nation
on the occasion of his 65th martyrdom.
Azad is also the President of Gandhi Global Family.
A new scheme of the state health department will be
formally launched on the occasion, the sources said today.
